Account Access

The FDCSD now uses Infinite Campus for its food service accounts.

Parents can access their student's account online through Infinite Campus.  If you do not have an Infinite Campus account please complete the Parent Portal Agreement form and return it to your school office or Diane Jass at the Central Administration Building.  From Infinite Campus, parents can add money to lunch accounts using a credit card or echeck.  Directions for making lunch account deposits can be found here.   Please note there is a $1.00 convenience fee per transaction.  

If sending cash or check to school with students, please place the cash/check in an envelope marked with your student's and instruct your child to give the envelope to the kitchen manager.  Payment needs to be to the kitchen manager by 9 a.m. to be deposited into the account on that day.

FDCSD SCHOOL DINING CHARGING PROCEDURE

Automated dailer calls are made daily as a reminder of a low dining account balance.  Emails are sent out reminding parents to add money to their dining account. Middle School and Sr. High students are verbally reminded by cashiers to add money to their dining account. If are not receiving low balance notifications, and would like to please call Ursuala at 515-574-5677.

Upon reaching the $20 charge limit per family, the following rules will apply:

  • Students will not be able to purchase breakfast.
  • Students in grades 9-12 will not be allowed to eat school lunch.
  • When a family’s account balance is zero, students will not be able to charge ala carte items; this includes milk that would be purchased if a student brought their own lunch from home.

 

We feel that every child should have the opportunity to have school lunches. If you have a student(s), and are making

no attempt to pay a negative balance, the Fort Dodge Community School District reserves the right to interrupt your child’s meal service. If interruption should happen, a letter will be sent to the home address, requesting you to provide a "sack" lunch for your student.  To ensure your child does not have interruption in their meal services please call Food Services to make arrangements to bring your account up to date.

 Second lunches for all students are $3.50. A la carte snack items are not included with lunch and students who purchase them on account are charged full price regardless of whether they receive free or reduced price meals. Parents should discuss purchasing guidelines with their children in advance to prevent unwelcome charges to their account.

Payments are accepted by cash, check or online by clicking the "Check Account Balance" button above. Any money remaining at the end of the school year will be transferred with the student to the next grade.
