TAG - Fort Dodge Community School District - Fort Dodge Iowa

TAG

At the Fort Dodge Middle School, we believe that identified gifted students should have structured opportunities to interact with peers of similar abilities and interests. Gifted students in Grades 5 through 8 meet with their peers and the TAG teacher one class period every other day.

To develop 21st Century Skills, optimal programming that allows for gifted and talented students to demonstrate competencies is planned.  Examples of these options might include classroom enrichment, pullout groupings, clustering, independent studies, mentorships/internships, advanced classes/acceleration, distance/online learning community service, or out of school programs.
