Senior Students/Parents are invited to attend one of the dates listed above to receive information including: high school transcript, senior schedule, senior timeline, college planning materials, scholarship resources, and financial aid information.
BEFORE THE FAFSA:
Students and Parents both need a FSA ID usernames and passwords
Create FSA IDs at https://fsaid.ed.gov/npas/index.htm
CHECKLIST OF WHAT TO BRING WITH WHEN FILING THE FAFSA
Student:
- Social Security Number
- Driver's License
- 2018 W-2 Forms and other records of money earned
- 2018 Federal Income Tax Return
- Current bank (checking & savings) statements
Parents:
- Social Security Number
- Driver's License
- 2018 W-2 Forms and other records of money earned
- 2018 Federal Income Tax Return
- 2018 untaxed income records
- Social Security
- Temporary Assistance for Families showing need
- Welfare
- Veterans benefits records
- Current bank (checking & savings) statements
- Current business and investment mortgage information, business and farm records, stock, bond and other investment records

Iowa Central will assist anyone, regardless of what college a student is planning to attend, in filing the FAFSA
