Art Units

1. Buffalo Hides:  Students will make their own Native American Hide.  They will use picture writing (pictographs) to draw a story on their hides.

2. Robotic Inventions:  Students will create a movable 2-D robot using oak tag, brads and tin foil.

3. Symmetrical Mask Design: Students create a 2-D mask design by fold and press method of printing.

4. Magic Colorful Kaleidoscopes: Students will look at slides and pictures of radical symmetry in nature. Students will use this inspiration from nature to create their own kaleidoscopes.
