3 Dimensional Design

Course Description:

3-D Design deals with the fundamental principles of 3 D design.  Emphasis will be placed on commercial industrial design as well as fine art sculpture.

Prerequisites:  Art Studio

Perspective Drawing, Cube-Rectangle Construction, Pyramid Construction, Plane Surface,
Ribbon Surface, Spherical Construction, Atectonic Construction, Biomorphic Construction, Relief Construction, Inanimate From Construction, Soft Form Construction, 3-D Graphic Design Construction, Mask Construction, Figure Sculpture, Subtractive Plaster Sculpture

Course Requirements:

The students must successfully complete original works of art via the above projects, using the techniques and styles prescribed by the instructor.
