Course Syllabus:

Basic Foods emphasizes preparation techniques of foods included in each of the food groups of the food pyramid. Quick breads, pasta, rice, fruits, vegetables, cooking with milk, cheese, and meat are included.  Use and care of equipment are incorporated into the curriculum as well as management concepts.
