Electricity I
Course Syllabus:
Electricity I involves the basic fundamentals of electrical circuits and devices. Practical experiences of developing skills using meters and test equipment of constructing experimental circuits will be covered. Areas studied will include Ohm's Law, capacitors, relays, motors, magnetism, house wiring, transformers, automobile electrical systems, series, and parallel circuits. This course emphasizes the fundamentals needed to understand electrical technology. This course can be articulated for college credit at the community college level.
