Geometry

Course Description:

Students will advance their back-ground in mathematics including Algebra 1. This course is intended for students planning to attend college.  Students will study geometric figures and their measurements, area, volume, and construction.  Students will be introduced to writing proofs and using right triangle trigonometry.

Prerequisites:

Successful completion of Algebra 1 or Algebra 1B.  It is recommended that Algebra 1B students take Informal Geometry before taking Geometry.
