BRIDGES is a collaborative effort between the FDCSD and community agencies. It is designed to bring community resources into the school setting and provide students and parents easier access and availability to services.
COUNSELORS: The FDCSD professional counseling program provides a comprehensive, developmental counseling program addressing the academic, career and social/emotional development of all students to assist them in acquiring skills, knowledge and attitudes needed to become productive citizens of their community.
At-Risk Programming: programs to address the academic and behavior needs of students who need intensive skill building and strategy instruction are offered at all academic levels in the FDCSD.
Student Health: Healthy children are successful learners. The school nurse has a multifaceted role within the school setting, one that supports the physical, mental, emotional and social health of students and their success in the learning process.
YouthNet: is a coalition of schools, organizations and agencies that is focused on helping youth reach their full potential academically, socially and developmentally. YouthNet is dedicated to ensuring the best possible future for our youth by helping them get access to important services and resources they need, and by promoting positive choices and behaviors. Juvenile Court Liaisons: Two onsite Juvenile Court Liaisons collaborate with the Juvenile Court Office to work within grades 5-12 who are involved in the court system.
Attendance Office: tracks attendance, offering plans and support to ensure students are in school during the day.
FDSH Alternative Education Program: provides students who often struggle, for various reasons, in the traditional high school setting with another option allowing them to graduate at their own pace
Dodger Academy: is an after-school educational enrichment program for K-4 students from around the district. The program is located at Butler Elementary and encourages and assists students in the program to achieve success in school
