8th Grade Family Night February 28 at FDSH

Fort Dodge Senior High will host the annual Eighth Grade Night in the main gym on Tuesday, February 28, beginning at  6 p.m.  Current eighth grade students who are interested in or planning to attend FDSH and their parents are encouraged to attend.

This event will help provide students and families with the knowledge and skills needed for a successful transition to high school. Information shared will include: an introduction of staff, 9th grade schedule information, academics including the 4 year plan and graduation requirements, attendance, Infinite Campus and activities/clubs.  Tours of the school will also be available. 

“This is an opportunity for eighth grade students and their parents or guardians to get into Senior High and learn more about what they will experience as freshmen,” said Matt Elsbecker, assistant principal. “We will answer questions about schedules, opportunities and high school life in general.”
