Community Invited to Coffee Conversation January 30
January 22, 2014, Fort Dodge, IA- Fort Dodge Community School District Superintendent Dr. Van Zyl and Assistant Superintendent Mr. Hughes will hold a “Coffee Conversation” Thursday, January 30, from 7-8 a.m. at the Hy-Vee deli. The event will offer parents and community members a chance to engage with school leaders in a casual small group setting.
“The Coffee Conversation is an opportunity for parents and members of the community to ask questions and learn more about the great things our students and staff are doing,” said Van Zyl. “It is important for parents and community members to be engaged in and knowledgeable about the learning and educational process in our schools.”
Parents and community members are encouraged to attend any time during the hour as a come-and-go format will be used. Another “Coffee Conversation” is being planned for April.
