FDCSD to Host Coffee Conversation October 29
October 20, 2015, Fort Dodge, IA- Fort Dodge Community School District will hold a “Coffee Conversation” Thursday, October 29th, from 7:45- 8:30 a.m. at Duncombe Elementary (former Fair Oaks building).
The “Coffee Conversation” is an opportunity for parents of all Dodger students and members of the community to share with Dr. Van Zyl, superintendent, and Mr. Hughes, assistant superintendent, what they feel is going well, give suggestions and ask questions regarding the schools or district as a whole.
“Coffee Conversation is an opportunity for parents and community members to engage in conversation with us regarding how the year is going, what they’re hearing in the community and to share ideas they may have,” Van Zyl said. “We continue to provide these opportunities because we value the feedback we receive from our Dodger community.”
Parents and community members are encouraged to attend any time during the event as a come-and-go format will be used. Additional “Coffee Conversation” events are being planned for later in the school year.
