FDCSD Transitional Kindergarten Open House May 3

Transitional Kindergarten (TK) Open House will take place at Riverside Early Learning Center May 3.  This event is for parents/guardians who have a child ready to enter school in the fall (child must be 5 years of age by Sept. 15, 2019) and have either chosen TK for their child or are unsure about the decision between TK and kindergarten. 

For students with last names beginning with A-G check in will begin at 8:45 a.m. and the information session will be from 9-10 a.m.  Check in for students with last names beginning with H-Z will start at 12:45 p.m. with the information session from 1-2 p.m.  Both a parent/guardian and the child should attend.

This Open House will provide parents and their children an opportunity to visit a TK classroom. TK teachers will be available to answer questions about the program, ensure necessary paperwork is completed (online registration, proof of guardianship, immunization records and address verification) and help parents make an informed decision regarding TK for their child.

TK is limited to 40 students.  If you have not already, please contact Jeri Bird at 574.5679 to add a child to the list.
