FDSH Inducts 40 into National Honor Society
Forty Fort Dodge Senior High students were inducted into the National Honor Society (NHS) on Sunday, March 27. Junior and senior students are selected based on criteria from the pillars of scholarship, character, leadership and service both in and out of school. The FDSH 2022 NHS inductees include:
Seniors: Filipe Guedes, Aja Jallow, Landry McBride, Tabitha Teske, Jace Ulrich and David Vraj
Juniors: Aaron Amhof, Kennedy Bailey, Trusha Bhatt, Grace Casciato, Keymora Douglas, Keyonna Douglas, Logan Eddington, Maggie Elsbecker, Hailey Folsom, Eileen Fierke, Kylie Ganzeveld, Kaylynne Gilliland, Ryleigh Habhab, Kira Hansen, Ashlynn Headlee, Aliyah Henry, Liberty Huffman, Makenna Kammerer, Lydia Lara, Joshua Madden, Ryan Madden, Lainey Maehl, Abigail Meyer, Landon Meyer, Molly Myer, Kadin Nekvinda, Fisher Novencido, James Orres, Reese Pederson, Jackson Shimkat, Noah Stanley, Grace Tolliver, Victoria Touney and Kyrstin Waychoff.
“Membership in National Honor Society recognizes students for their achievements in scholarship, character, leadership and service,” said Ryan Takatsuka, NHS advisor. “Our members are examples for others through their service to our school and community and their efforts to better themselves through new opportunities and experiences.”
FDSH NHS members are involved in various service projects throughout the year, including organizing two blood drives at the high school.
