FDSH Large Group Speech Team Successful at State
February 20, 2020, Fort Dodge, IA- On February 8, members of the Fort Dodge Senior High speech team attended the Iowa High School Speech Association State Large Group Speech Contest. They performed the 12 acts that qualified for State through the district competition last month. Eight of the acts received Division I ratings with one of them selected for All State and four groups received Division II ratings.

“I am very proud of all our students who performed. The team had a great day at State,” said Lindey Krug, speech coach. “We are thrilled to have Grace and Antavion representing Senior High at All State. It is such an honor for the kids to be chosen and will be an experience they will never forget.”
The All State Speech Festival takes place February 22 at Iowa State University.
