Ten FDMS Students Selected to NCIBA Honor Band

November 12, 2015

November 12, 2015, Fort Dodge, IA-  Ten students from the Fort Dodge Middle School were selected for the 2015 North Central Iowa Bandmasters Association (NCIBA) Honor Band.  The NCIBA Honor Band will perform Saturday, November 14, at 5 p.m. at the Humboldt High School auditorium. Admission to the concert is $2.

“We have ten great students representing Fort Dodge,” said Roger Steig, FDMS band director.  “Participating in an honor band will give these outstanding musicians a chance to play some very challenging music.  It makes them better players and they can bring what they learn through this experience back to school to share with their peers.”
