The FDCSD Virtual Backpack is our way of distributing information regarding upcoming school sponsored and community non-profit events and activities. The virtual backpack will help parents find information in one central location and save our local nonprofits money on printing.
When submitting material for posting:
- Non-school sponsored information will only be distributed from non-profit organizations.
- All flier distribution requests must be submitted at least 10 days prior to the distribution date using the FDCSD Virtual Backpack distribution request form. The completed form and an exact copy of the material in PDF format (must meet accessibility requirements) must be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
- Non-school sponsored materials must include the following statement in type at least as large as the majority of other text in the material in a place where everyone will see it: This is not a Fort Dodge Community School District publication or event. It is being distributed through the school district as a community service of the district to inform you of other community activities or services available.
