Any guys out there looking for an exciting winter sport?  Come try swimming!  The boys swim team will be having an informational meeting Wednesday, Oct. 23rd in Room 50 at 3:00pm.  If you are unable to make it but still want to join the team, talk to Coach Ashley.

All students who flex must have their Ids out with the appropriate flex sticker to show to Attendance as they come in.

If you are in need of having your pictures retaken or you were absent on picture day, Retakes will be done on October 30th in the little theater. You can pick up a form in the office.

Today A rep from Ellsworth Community College will be in the counseling area at 9:00 a.m. and UNI at 12:00 p.m.

A Women in Manufacturing event presented by Nestle Purina will be held October 29th from 8:30 a.m. - noon at the Iowa Central East Campus. Women hold less than 1/3 of careers in manufacturing. Christine Summers, Director of Production Engineering at Nestle Purina, will speak encouraging women to consider manufacturing careers. Anyone interested should rsvp to skyla@greaterfortdodge.com.

Parents'/Guardians' Rights Notification

Parents/Guardians in the FDCSD have the right to learn about the following qualifications of their child's teacher: state licensure requirements for the grade level and content areas taught, the current licensing status of your child's teacher, and baccalaureate/graduate certification/degree.  You may also request the qualifications of an instructional paraprofessional who serves you student in a Title I program or if your school operates a school-wide Title I program.

Parents/Guardians may request this information from the Human Resource Department by calling 515 574 5654 or sending a letter of request to the Human Resource Department, Administration Office, FDCSD, 104 South 17th Street, Fort Dodge, Iowa  50501.
