Homecoming Week Senior High Spirit Days 2018

Twosome Tuesday - dress as iconic duos, couples, pairs or things that go together

What Color Wednesday - dress in assigned colors - Seniors: yellow, Juniors: pink, Sophomores: blue, Freshman: purple

Throwback Thursday - dress from the past...from the dawn of dinosaurs to the new millennium

Dodger Friday - dress in your best Dodger gear and red and black

 ICCC is hosting a Criminal Justice career exploration day on Nov. 19, from 11-1:30. If you are interested in attending, please sign up with Ms. Jaeschke in Room 7.

Anyone that needs to pick-up/buy the 2018 yearbook will need to come to room 9 and get them from Mrs. Hartley.  We still have some 2018's available for sale for $60 and we are also selling the 2016 yearbook for $5.

1 in 8 Iowans do not have enough eat; Fort Dodge Senior high wants to help. There’s a food pantry in room 50. Come talk to Shawn or Ashley before or after school and see what they can do to help. Let’s make sure everyone in Fort Dodge Senior high has enough to eat

Students who are interested in volunteering at Special Olympics Bowling must pick up a form in the office and return it to Mrs. Plagge (Room 20) by Thursday October 4th

GEAR UP Week! There will be activities every day plus facts and trivia about college in the morning announcements. Here’s your first fun fact: What do numerous NASA astronauts, over 40 Pulitzer Prize winners, four Nobel Prize winners and one Superman have in common? They all graduated from Iowa universities!

CENTRAL COLLEGE OF PELLA will have representatives here on Monday, September 24th at 9:30 am.   Seniors interested in Pella Central please plan to come down!

HAWKEYE COMMUNITY COLLEGE reps will be in the counseling department on Tuesday, September 25th at 9:00 am.  Find out what they are all about!  Meet Hawkeye Community College people on Tuesday!

Parents'/Guardians' Rights Notification

Parents/Guardians in the FDCSD have the right to learn about the following qualifications of their child's teacher: state licensure requirements for the grade level and content areas taught, the current licensing status of your child's teacher, and baccalaureate/graduate certification/degree.  You may also request the qualifications of an instructional paraprofessional who serves you student in a Title I program or if your school operates a school-wide Title I program.

Parents/Guardians may request this information from the Human Resource Department by calling 515 574 5654 or sending a letter of request to the Human Resource Department, Administration Office, FDCSD, 104 South 17th Street, Fort Dodge, Iowa  50501.
