Yearbook announcement:  If you have not turned in your senior pictures or you did not have school pictures taken, please submit your picture to Mrs. Runestad or Olivia Bell.  Pictures are needed by May 30th. Yearbook Sales are open.  Please make $60 checks payable to FDSH.

 The Seal of Biliteracy is an award from a district to recognize students who have attained proficiency in two or more languages, one of which is English, by high school graduation. If you would like to prove your proficiency in a language other than English, see or email Ms. Hays in counseling to sign up for the test. Tests will be given the week of April 12th.

Parents'/Guardians' Rights Notification

Parents/Guardians in the FDCSD have the right to learn about the following qualifications of their child's teacher: state licensure requirements for the grade level and content areas taught, the current licensing status of your child's teacher, and baccalaureate/graduate certification/degree.  You may also request the qualifications of an instructional paraprofessional who serves you student in a Title I program or if your school operates a school-wide Title I program.

Parents/Guardians may request this information from the Human Resource Department by calling 515 574 5654 or sending a letter of request to the Human Resource Department, Administration Office, FDCSD, 104 South 17th Street, Fort Dodge, Iowa  50501.
