The National Honor Society would like to thank everyone who donated to our Pennies for Patients fundraiser. We raised $825, over $100 dollars more than our two previous years. The Sister Dodger Time groups that raised the most were: Takatsuka & Orozco, Canto & Ketcham, and Birkey, Tessum, Tew. Edible prizes will be delivered to your Dodger Times as thanks for your donations!

Junior and Senior prospective National Honor Society candidates. Due to the limited week we will continue to take candidacy packets until March 2, 2018 or Friday of next week. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Takatsuka in room 222 or contact him via email. 

Looking for ways to prepare for the ACT or SAT?  Free test prep sessions will be offered on February 24 and March 3 in room 59.  February 24th reading will be reviewed from 8-10 am and math will be reviewed from 10-noon.  March 3rd English and writing will be reviewed from 8-10 am and science will be reviewed from 10-noon.  Students may sign up for these free sessions in the high school counseling area.

Iowa State will have a representative here next Monday, February 26th at 9:00 am.  Seniors who are interested in ISU, please come down to meet the rep.

The Application for the Milo & Mildred Hayes Scholarship is now available in the counselor's office. Stop down and get one if you are interested.

Parents'/Guardians' Rights Notification

Parents/Guardians in the FDCSD have the right to learn about the following qualifications of their child's teacher: state licensure requirements for the grade level and content areas taught, the current licensing status of your child's teacher, and baccalaureate/graduate certification/degree.  You may also request the qualifications of an instructional paraprofessional who serves you student in a Title I program or if your school operates a school-wide Title I program.

Parents/Guardians may request this information from the Human Resource Department by calling 515 574 5654 or sending a letter of request to the Human Resource Department, Administration Office, FDCSD, 104 South 17th Street, Fort Dodge, Iowa  50501.
