The Extended Learning Lab provides an environment in which the full potential of the learner is recognized, encouraged, and nurtured.
Each student is given the appropriate support and challenge necessary for continued educational development. John McBride is the TAG/Extended Learning Instructor.
Students can participate in self-directed Independent Study explorations and are offered guidance and resources necessary to investigate personal areas of interest. Goals are established and projects created.
In addition, students have the opportunity to enroll in Advanced Placement classes, college level courses, Honors by Contract, participate in contests or academic challenges, and investigate an area of interest through a potential internship.
