A bond referendum will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2025.
If you’re a registered voter and unable to vote in person on Election Day, you can vote early or by absentee ballot.

Congratulations to our Student of the Week, Carter Dowling! Carter is in 5th grade at Butler Elementary. Carter is a hard worker in class and does a great job participating and asking questions. If he doesn't understand what we are learning, he lets me know and asks for help or even more practice to work on at home! Carter works well with all students- when doing group work, treats others kindly and shows leadership qualities. We are so lucky to have Carter on our 5th grade team!

Dodger Alum Sawyer Springer Inspires Student-Athletes
Sawyer Springer, a proud Dodger alum and current Fort Dodge firefighter, paramedic, and EMT, recently spoke to over 60 student-athletes at the invitation of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
His message centered on the power of perseverance, the importance of staying involved in athletics and activities, and learning from failure. Sawyer shared his personal journey, encouraging students to keep pushing forward, even when life takes unexpected turns.
“Everything happens for a reason, and even though my path was not exactly what I thought it would be, I am so glad it brought me back to Fort Dodge and the community that has given so much back to my family and to me,” Springer said.
Thank you, Sawyer, for sharing your story and inspiring the next generation of Dodgers!

Duncombe Elementary & FDCSD is very fortunate to have Shannon Grossnickle teaching and leading. Students from ICCC’s Basic Athletic Training and Body Structure & Function classes teamed up with FDFD for a hands-on day of emergency care training in an athletic setting.
They practiced applying a Stifneck collar, backboarding, using a scoop stretcher, vacuum splints, and even checked out an EKG reading! 🩺⚡
It was an awesome opportunity to build real-world skills and explore careers in EMS and athletic emergency care. 👩⚕️👨⚕️🔥
