Students from Mrs. Adams' Honors English 10A classes were assigned to perform a play, "Chapter 7," based on the book Of Mice and Men. Students had only four days to collaborate, write a script, practice, get costumes, make props, perform the final chapter, and create an iconic scene to make the book even more complete.
Working asynchronously, in class, and in small groups, the students did a superb job in the third and fifth blocks of putting two entirely unique plays together to demonstrate their understanding of the themes and lessons learned from the characters in the book.

Last week, Fort Dodge Senior High hosted a Career Fair that connected students with 50 area employers from diverse fields like manufacturing, agriculture, healthcare, public safety, media, banking, and more!
