Today, we honor and remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and the bravery of the first responders who risked everything to save others. Let us reflect on the strength and unity that emerged from that tragic day, and continue to stand together in support of peace, hope, and resilience.

Last night, we had the honor of recognizing Stu Cochrane for his incredible 28 years of service on the FDCSD School Board, with 19 of those years as Board President.
In a special moment, Mayor Bemrich surprised Stu by presenting a proclamation in recognition of his service and unwavering commitment to FDCSD.
Stu has been a dedicated advocate for our students, staff, and community, investing countless hours to support and strengthen our district. His leadership, relationship-building, and commitment to facilitating positive change have made a lasting impact on all of us.

Mrs. Grossnickle reminded her students that just like their art project, they’ll work together all year to help each other shine and achieve those goals.
