Students from ICCC’s Basic Athletic Training and Body Structure & Function classes teamed up with FDFD for a hands-on day of emergency care training in an athletic setting.

They practiced applying a Stifneck collar, backboarding, using a scoop stretcher, vacuum splints, and even checked out an EKG reading! 🩺⚡

It was an awesome opportunity to build real-world skills and explore careers in EMS and athletic emergency care. 👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️🔥

The Fort Dodge Band had an outstanding performance this weekend, earning 1st place in Class 4A with a score of 82.6!

We’re also proud to share that the band received the award for Best Brass Section of the Day !

Congratulations to our Student of the Week, Cole! Cole is in 5th Grade at Cooper Elementary. Cole has been working hard in class, participating in discussions, and showing a great attitude toward learning. He has also stepped up as a leader during recess, helping to organize and care for the equipment. He also treats everyone with respect.

Congratulations to our Student of the Week, Maelynn! Maelynn is in 6th grade at Fort Dodge Middle School. Maelynn has shown her leadership at FDMS. She is kind to both her classmates and teachers and treats everyone with respect. She always works hard and does her best on every assignment.
