Members of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee created a display for Slam the Stigma event at the JV and varsity basketball games on December 8th. SAAC members created affirmations cards, discussed research and statistics regarding student athletes and their mental health, and even gave out treats. The importance of balancing athletics, activities, school work, rest, and having fun was emphasized.

Miss Iowa visited Duncombe yesterday to read to our students, spending time with each grade level! The students loved hearing the story and getting to meet her in person. It was such a fun and memorable morning filled with smiles, laughter, and learning. Thank you so much for taking the time to visit us and inspire our students!
