The 5th graders at Cooper Elementary are exploring how objects in space move and interact with each other. As part of their study, they designed a tool to measure the sun’s shadow at different times of the day. This project required teamwork, focus, and patience as they worked together to determine how all the pieces fit. #proud2bFD

Thanks to our partnership with Fort Dodge Fire, students will experience hands-on learning at the station and in the classroom—gaining real-world skills and insight into this critical career.
