Career Fair Day at the high school! 🎓
Students had the chance to explore careers from healthcare and engineering to farming and beyond. It’s a great way to start thinking about their futures and connect with professionals in our community!

Smoothie Lab Day was a hit! 🍓🥤

Intro to Healthcare students participated in panel interviews with community members this week. These mock interviews gave students a chance to practice real-world communication and professional skills while receiving feedback from local healthcare professionals. The experience helps prepare students for future job interviews, internships, and careers in the healthcare field. We’re grateful to our community partners for taking the time to share their expertise and support our students’ growth!

Congratulations to the Student of the Week, Bella Cole Calles! She is a 5th Grader at Duncombe Elementary. Bella is a conscientious student who brings joy to our school every day. She thinks of others, consistently volunteers and helps with jobs and is always sharing words of encouragement. Bella is a leader in our school and on her Leader In Me Role where she is creating a school wide Book Club! FDCSD is so proud of you Bella!!

Homecoming Parade – Friday, October 17, 2025!

The Fort Dodge Senior High Homecoming Parade kicks off at 3:00 pm, starting at Central & 12th and heading down Central Ave to City Square! 🚗 Central Ave (15th - City Square) closes at 2:30 pm - please move vehicles from the route.

🅿️ Free parking in City lots 2 - 5 pm + no 2-hour limit during that time.
Spectators: find a spot west of 12th St. down to City Square and enjoy the fun! ❤️🖤
