Last night, we had the honor of recognizing Stu Cochrane for his incredible 28 years of service on the FDCSD School Board, with 19 of those years as Board President. In a special moment, Mayor Bemrich surprised Stu by presenting a proclamation in recognition of his service and unwavering commitment to FDCSD. Stu has been a dedicated advocate for our students, staff, and community, investing countless hours to support and strengthen our district. At Duncombe Elementary, Mrs. Grossnickle’s class kicked off the year with some serious goal-setting! 🌟 Each student wrote down their big goal for the year on a gold star. At the end of the first week, they came together to create a group masterpiece—a class version of Starry Night! 🎨🌌 Mrs. Grossnickle reminded her students that just like their art project, they’ll work together all year to help each other shine and achieve those goals. #proud2bFD
